I planted this Golden Vicary Privet as a screening plant and privacy hedge, and it's perfect, but it takes four years to look truly lovely. This hardy evergreen plant can thrive in full or partial shade, and more significantly, it is highly resistant to deer! With its vibrant colors and preference for adequate drainage, I can state that this plant is showy. This plant will be a bit picky if placed in an area with poor drainage.
